Any time I talk to you, or any time you send me compliments, I hear you compare us at best - knock yourselves down at worst. “Wow! You’re so good!” You say. “Everything I draw sucks!” “My drabbles are so lame!”

Well knock it off!

The creative pursuits have long since become synonymous with casual self-deprecation. I know that. We’re all our own worst critics. And the advent of the internet and social networks that attract artists doesn’t help. It’s easy to go look at Adam Hughes’ DeviantART page and want to crawl in a hole and die. It’s easy to reblog a featured image and wonder why you don’t have their talent - their genius - their whatever.

What I’d like to remind you of, though, is that you’re not getting accurate data. You’re getting a skewed representation of the general population. The internet is saturated with creative types. Designers, photographers, freelance writers - they’re around every corner on some blog or another, and it can make you forget what an uncommon thing an artistic eye really is. The vast majority of people are going to be scribbling stick figures for the rest of their lives. The vast majority of people are unpublished. So if you can draw a face and make it look like a face - if you can describe something with the right words - you are something special.

Wherever you are now - and wherever you will go as you improve - love it!

Saints Row fandom, you are the most negative fandom I have been in for a while.

Accurate depiction of what it’s like to play the Saints Row series.

I agree. While I personally like the killing Killbane ending gameplay wise, I always felt guilty about letting Shaundi and Viola die and I really want them to be in the next game.

This is probably a pretty unpopular opinion, but I’d be disappointed if it turns out that the real ending is Saving Shaundi. The Kill Killbane ending made far more narrative sense. For example, it was SUCH and anti-climax to not even see the Daedalus after all that talk about it. The Kill Killbane ending also had much more emotional resonance than the Save Shaundi ending, which seemed to be a parody of itself in the Gangsters in Space sequence.

To me, going with the happier ending would be a bit of a cop-out for the series. Although, yeah, I’d be happy to have Shaundi back.
